![]() | How to Locate a Literature Number and Revision Date If you are looking for updated versions of existing literature, you will need to refer to our literature number and revision date. The numbers can be found on the last page of any piece of printed or electronic literature. Look for a small set of boxes near the bottom corner of the page. ![]() In the example above, the literature number is L-CR-SL-003. The revision date is 3/99. Sometimes the third box will appear, showing where the document was printed or prepared. How to Locate a Revision Date on Other Files For non-document files, you can identify a revision date by looking at the "date stamp" on the file. Find the file of interest on your disk drive. Look at the properties for the file and read the date it was created or modified. Compare the date to the one we have posted on the download. If our date is more recent than the date stamp on the file you have, you may want to download the update. |
